I woke up this morning feeling like I had only just gone to sleep, I hate early mornings!! Very reluctantly I got my butt into gear and got ready for the day. Charley was going out with his dad for the day, Scott was off shopping with his friends and Kirsten and I planned a girlie day shopping!
Out come more summer clothes, the shopping list and one or two optional extra requests from my darlin' 10 year old!! Girls are sooo expesive!!! LOL
So, we went round town, browsed one shop after another picking up little things here and there, done a little shopping (the boring stuff!) and picked up some flowers that I like to buy for Relief Society and a pretty bunch for Kirsten. Walking home we ate prawns, giggled and moaned about how its too hot to walk (town is a 5 minute walk away!!), totally lazy and typically british to moan about the weather!! Lol
I think Kirsten had a great time though, she got to spend her money, and chose well I was pleased to see, I treated myself to a photography magazine and some vellum glue!! Yeah, big spender me!! Lol
Now she's out swimming with her friend and stopping off for chips on the way home before i'm subjected to an evening of her and her friend painting my nails, doing my hair and using makeup on me! She seems to like making me look old, daggy and downright silly!!! LOL But I dont mind, its all in good fun and we do have a giggle!!
Well, my friend called earlier, who is sounding much chirpier today so that was good to hear! I dont envy the challenges he has but its nice to see a guy that isn't afraid to challenge himself to get to where he wants to be!! I had to gasp and giggle when he told me about a conversation he had with his daughter....she was very supportive of him and hischoices, this touched him...I love hearing him talk about his kids. This one daughter, S (not going to use her full name) sounds awesome, I'd love the opportunity to get to know her, maybe even convert her to scrapbooking and I could have another buddy to conspire with about stash, colours and techniques!!! Now how cool would that be??? LOL
Anyway, she'd probably think I was a nutcase so I wont put that on her!! LOL
Ooh I can see the heads nodding in agreement there!! LOL :P
I miss the smilies on here...blogger doesnt have them and I love using them, especially the cheeky ones!
So...her space, my space...I have so missed doing those pics. I have to stop planning things on a morning!! Hehehe So today, as I have some free time I figured I would go play with my camera and see how many I can come up with! For now though here is the last couple of days....
~*~Pegs~*~

This is totally boring, I was going to do my dolly pegs with pretty ribbons on but I really couldnt be bothered to move and go to where I keep them...so I aimed my camera through my conservatory window and took this instead!! Lmao At least you see that I do my washing though!! LOL
~*~vegetable~*~
This onion is made me smile, it was wedged in the corner of my veggie basket all on its own, lost and lonely! Could do with Suzy's touch now though....shall I tell ya what Suzyb does to onions? This is a true story...
Last March I arranged a weekend scrapbooking retreat for our then team. The day before Suzy text me and asked if there's anything I wanted her to bring, but as I cant help but wind her up I said 'yeah, can you get a red onion'. Bless her, she didnt ask why but dutifully picked one up...but left it at work! I didn't need a red onion or any onion for that matter and I had the whole day to rib her over it!! But she got me back because she posted it to me...with cute matching prima flowers adhorning it!! Oh how I laughed when I got it in the post!!! So our Suzy definately won the star of the show!!! LOL
Now I can never look at any onions without thinking of our Suz!!! :P
Todays is tape...so now i'm off to find something and do something to photo and hopefully it'll be a bit more exciting!! :P
