Moving

Since I started another blog I cant keep up with this one as well, I just seem to copy n paste the important bits! So i've decided to move over to the other one:

sunsets -and-stars

So come on over and join me there! As I get into doing HS:MS again (when my camera has been fixed!) I will then be moving some of the links over there. When I was browsing some of the linked blogs on here and other blogs I was surprised to find that I am linked to quite a few other blogs of people that i've never spoken to, I thought this was lovely, and my tracker shows me that these people are regular readers...though why I dont know, all I do is waffle!! :) Lol But all said, I appreciate that some people take the time to visit here! Hopefully the other one though will be a bit more upbeat and a bit more life orientated...though working from home while raising my 3 yr old full time does not always offer to much 'life orientation'!!! :) That said, I like my life and i'm not tempted to the oven as much these days!!:) Just joking...i'm not that way inclined!

So if you want to add my new blog to yours please feel free, if you want me to add yours just hollar and i'll do it! :)

Thanks to all of you who have read my blog, left comments or preferred to email me...you have given me many thoughts and giggles! :)

Be happy, Be safe and Keep smiling!

Sky's the limit!

For those of you that haven't caught up with Kirsty's blog yet, the funds are sitting at around £6000!!!! How bloody cool is that?!!

I am still going to continue with this project with Ellie....to my knowledge the extra money will still benefit Ellie in lots of ways to make her life comfortable as possible...so I for one am still BEGGING you to continue to sign up for the project class...which will be available soon as Ellie and I have agreed on a few things!!

To keep Ellie's appeal fresh, here are all the links and the link to my original post I left. Please take a few minutes to read about Ellie and please, please, please either make a donation or sign up for the project class that Ellie and I are working on!

My original post for Ellie

I am glad that so many luverly people have gone out of their way to support Ellie, as a mum of an 11 year old girl I look at her and imagine how I might feel, or how she might feel, if we had to deal with any medical issue, much less one that isnt diagnosed. Its a shuddering thought for any parent, but me, I am not so sure i'd be as brave as Ellie or Kirsty! Hat off to yer girls!

Vinegar, Lavendar & Ribbons

A crazy couple of days in the land of us Willsons...I have a yukky smell of vinegar in my kitchen and it will not go...no matter how much lavendar oils I burn, spray or douse the floor with! No vinegar is not my latest craze...dear lil Charley Boy dropped the vinegar bottle yesterday and now its haunting me. I swear I woke up this morning smelling distilled vinegar in my room! I've bleached the floor, that made it worse for the odour so I decided to try and replace the horrible smell with something nice and fresh...but nothing yet...so i'm probably gonna have this stench round for a few days yet! Doh
I was out with some friends a couple of nights ago, just chilling in my local Beefeater as you do, one of the lads was getting ribbed about buying his wife a load of ribbons cos that's her latest craze. I thought it was mega sweet, I mean if D gave me a heap of ribbons i'd kiss him none stop!! Lol Of course I can supply Hobbycraft with ribbons cos any scrapbooker seems to have a thing for them right?!! So, then this guy went on to say that he'd even made a layout for his wife's birthday to surprise her and show her that he appreciated her and enjoyed seeing her doing her crafts. Nick is your typical man's man so we were all surprised at this, but I tell ya, not one guy made a sound after that, I think the look us gals give him was enough to warn them that they'd be dicing with death if they did!! LOL I just thought the whole thing was sweet and funny! Do any of your guys buy you stash when your not with them or show interest in your crafts? Or do they roll their eyes, mutter something incomprehensible and threaten divorce??? Just curious.
So, what's happening? My life has been filled with a lot of good stuff right now, I'm not even sure I made it happen! I think the best thing is the response to my post about Ellie Wiseman. While I've been putting stuff together for this book, i've been inspired by the emails i've been getting, there really are some fantastic people out there who are just so keen to do a little something (or a lot depending on their circumstances) when someone is in need. It all makes me wanna go mushy and gooey and say 'ooh shucks!!' Lol So thank you to the guys n gals that have promised to donate some cash or buy the class project, I'm sure Ellie and Kirsty will be so grateful!

Ellie Wiseman

Every now and again someone crosses your path and tugs at you for one reason or another. A few days ago I read about Ellie Wiseman's appeal to help her raise £5000 to go to Nevada to see some specialist doctors to help figure out her medical conditions...I've read her mum's blog, i've seen Ellie's you tube appeal and i've spent ages talking to her mum, Kirsty about it too and there's only two things that I can say: They are both amazing people and are so inspiring its unbelievable! Not only is Kirsty a fantastic photographer and scrapbooker but her humility hit me like a rock...I don't know what I truly expected because I sensed she was a decent person anyway! So I am making a pledge to the fund....and this post will be kept at the top of this blog until its completed!

Ok, I am designing and putting together a book for Ellie, now she and I are yet to begin talks on what she would like but when I have her ideas and instructions I shall be using the book as a class...and EVERY class that is sold will 100% go direct to Ellies fund. So more than making my website work, more than getting excited over a project I need and BEG (!!) you to buy the class, tell your friends, neighbours, family, work colleagues, ANYONE about it. To keep up with what is being raised I propose to list on my website all the people who have purchased the class, that way everyone can see how we are contributing to Ellie's fund!

Children are our greatest assets in this life......our own especially but others are a contributing factor to our future too! LETS GET ELLIE TO NEVADA!!!

Below is a few links for you to find out more about Ellie's plight....PLEASE go check them out, lets support this little girl who deserves all she can to find out about her condition and hopefully get the treatment, advice and understanding of what, why, how and all the other questions I imagine that she and her parents are asking!

So, I hope we can spend a few minutes forwarding this page link to all the people you can think of. However busy we are lets not look back and regret not helping a cute, adorable and intelligent child who only wants to understand her own health situation!! All kids deserve that much!

If anyone has any questions about Ellie's Project then please email me: debbie.willson@yahoo.co.uk I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can!

Good luck and Thank you in advance!!!
